Take a River Cruise on the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers

Enjoy dinner on your own in historic Old Towne, Alexandria, Virginia before joining us for an evening river cruise on the Cherry Blossom. The Cherry Blossom is a re-creation of a 19th century Victorian riverboat it is one of six authentic split sternwheelers in the country, designed with ornate iron rails and a plush interior of brass and mahogany. Our two-tour will take us by National Harbor, north on the Anacostia river by the historic Navy Yard and the home of the Washington Nationals, and up the Washington Channel, with historic sites along the way.  The tour will be narrated by longtime DC houseboat resident, a current parent and member of the WWS faculty. Tuesday, June 26 from 7:30-9:30pm. Space limited. Rain or shine. Soda and water offered. $32 

Meet at the Alexandria City Marina behind the Torpedo Art Factory at 105 N Union St., Alexandria. Please arrive for boarding at 7:15pm.
